California EM2 Launch: Bringing the Curriculum to Life | Grades K–2

New teachers to Eureka Math² will learn the basics of the curriculum.

Description

In Launch, teachers build the knowledge and confidence needed to begin teaching with Eureka Math2 California. Teachers learn to use lesson structure and guidance as intended so they can facilitate and assess student learning in pursuit of the Big Ideas of mathematics. Teachers also explore module-level resources and recognize the logical progression of module content toward the big mathematical ideas. Seeing that progression helps teachers plan with intention and make the most of the curriculum's built-in features. By examining both the lesson structure and the module progression teachers will be equipped to plan equitable, engaging mathematics experiences that build all students’ knowledge and understanding.
