In this half-day session, prekindergarten teachers will investigate the structure, design, and components of the Eureka Math2 while engaging witht hte curriculum's print and digital resources. Teachers will explore the instructional role of all the curriculum resources and become prepared to facilitate lessons with students.
Description
Participants will:
- Explain the importance of the number core as a foundation to elementary mathematics,
- Describe how the structure of Eureka Math2 facilitates teaching mathematical content, and
- Experience and give examples of how the components and design of Eureka Math2 facilitate engagement, teachability, and accessiblity to involve all students through playful learning contexts so that students see math as an integral part of their world.
